Your Goals Find Ways To Remove Obstacles

Developing the Next Generation of Rainmakers Your Goals: Find Ways to Remove Obstacles I grew up being inspired when reading biographies about people who overcame adversity and achieved great things. Each overcame obstacles to achieve what others said could not be done  If you are ever tempted to abandon your goal as impossible, you might want to check out some of those biographies at your library or, on your Kindle or other reading device. In Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill tells the story of two men who panned for gold during the gold rush. They eventually found some gold but later lost the vein. They drilled and drilled. Finally, they gave up and sold their equipment to a junk man. The junk man hired an engineer who determined that the vein was a mere three feet away. Those three feet made the junk man a millionaire. As you review your 2016 goals, write down the biggest obstacle in reaching each. By now, you should be past the obstacle of disbelief â€" I don’t need goals â€" to consider practical obstacles between you and your desired accomplishments Draw up a list of challenges you face and below and for each list possible ways to over come them. I saw an Inc Magazine article 4 Tips for Overcoming Obstacles. Click to see 4 tips were helpful. Take a look. What do you think? I practiced law for 37 years developing a national construction law practice representing some of the top highway and transportation construction contractors in the US.
